THE TEXAS SOCIETY OF PATHOLOGISTS IS THE STATEWIDE MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION SPECIFICALLY TARGETED TO PATHOLOGISTS PRACTICING IN TEXAS. FOUNDED IN 1921, TSP IS THE OLDEST STATE PATHOLOGY ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES, AND CURRENTLY HAS MORE THAN 1,100 MEMBERS STATEWIDE. THROUGH ITS MISSION OF "FOCUSING ON EXCELLECE IN MEDICINE", THE SOCIETY PROVIDES CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION, PUBLICATIONS, A RESOURCE CENTER, ADVOCACY, JOB PLACEMENT LISTINGS, AND MANY OTHER SERVICES FOR PATHOLOGISTS AND THOSE INTERESTED IN THE FIELD OF PATHOLOGY.
