THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE DENVER BAR ASSOCIATION ("THE ASSOCIATION") FOUNDED THE DENVER BAR FOUNDATION ("THE FOUNDATION"). THE FOUNDATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE ASSOCIATION'S METRO VOLUNTEER LAWYERS PROGRAM. THE METRO VOLUNTEER LAWYERS PROGRAM PROVIDES PRO-BONO CIVIL LEGAL SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO CANNOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THE SERVICES. THE FOUNDATION OBTAINS ITS PRIMARY SUPPORT THROUGH DONATIONS FROM ASSOCIATION MEMBERS, GRANTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS, AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS.
