WE PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY, THE COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE, THE MEMBERS OF THE SORORITY AND THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD. WE PROMOTE A LIFETIME OF FRIENDSHIP, LEADERSHIP AND COOPERATION.

SERVICE TO SORORITY ENCOMPASSES THE COST OF EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETINGS, THE ANNUAL VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP PLANNING RETREAT, AND THE EXPENSES RELATED TO PROVIDING ADMINISTRATIVE AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO OUR 28 COLLEGIATE LOCATED IN THE USA. OUR ORGANIZATION IS PRIMARILY VOLUNTEER-LED WITH ONE CONTRACTOR SERVING AS A PART-TIME MANAGING DIRECTOR AND ONE CONTRACTOR SERVING AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT. ADDITIONAL CONTRACTORS MAY BE UTILIZED FOR SPECIALIZED PROJECTS. ALL OTHER EXECUTIVE LEADERS AND OPERATIONAL DIRECTORS ARE NOT COMPENSATED FOR THEIR SERVICE.
SERVICE TO MEMBERS IS A PRIMARY PART OF THE MISSION OF OMEGA PHI ALPHA. THE SORORITY PROVIDES SERVICE TO ITS MEMBERS THROUGH FELLOWSHIP AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS OFFERED AT COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS. SERVICE TO MEMBERS ALSO INCLUDES PRODUCING AND DISTRIBUTING THE FREE NATIONAL MAGAZINE TO OVER 6,000 LIFETIME MEMBERS AND THE COST OF MAINTAINING THE NATIONAL WEBSITE. AS OF JUNE 30, 2021, OMEGA PHI ALPHA HAD 960 ACTIVE MEMBERS IN 27 COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS.
SERVICE TO COMMUNITY--CURRENT CHAPTERS OF OMEGA PHI ALPHA PROVIDE THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AREAS WHERE THEY LIVE AND TO THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED. SUPPLIES ARE NEEDED FOR SUCH VENTURES AS WELL AS DIRECT MONETARY SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY PROGRAMS. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020/2021, THE MEMBERS OF THE SORORITY CONDUCTED OR PARTICIPATED IN 757 SERVICE PROJECTS FOR A TOTAL OF 26,915 SERVICE HOURS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES-NATIONAL EVENTS & PROGRAMS--THE SORORITY PROVIDES NATIONAL FORUMS FOR EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND NETWORKING. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2020/2021, WE HELD 8 REGIONAL SUMMITS AND AN ALUMNAE EVENT WITH A COMBINED ATTENDENCE OF 456 MEMBERS ATTENDING.
