THE CAJAL CLUB FOUNDATION GIVES GRANT AWARDS EACH YEAR TO JUNIOR AND SENIOR SCIENTISTS CARRYING OUT EXEMPLARY RESEARCH ON BRAIN FUNCTION, PARTICULARLY THAT OF THE CEREBRAL CORTEX. THE FOUNDATION SOLICITS NOMINATIONS FOR THREE CATEGORIES OF AWARDS EACH YEAR BY ADVERTISING ON THE WEBSITES OF THE CAJAL CLUB, A NEUROSCIENCE ORGANIZATION; THE SOCIETY FOR NEUROSCIENCE, AN INTERNATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH ORGANIZATION WITH MORE THAN 30,000 MEMBERS; AND THE ASSOCIATION OF DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSONS IN THE FIELDS OF ANATOMY, CELL BIOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE.
