THE PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE 1) WORK WITH STATE REPRESENTATIVES TO ENSURE CERTAIN LEGISLATION PROPOSED THAT IS DETRIMENTAL TO WORKERS IN TEXAS IS NOT PASSED INTO LAW, 2) HELP CERTAIN STATE REPRESENTATIVES BY SUPPORTING LEGISLATION TO HELP THE SAFETY OF WORKERS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, AND 3) PROVIDE FUNDING TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE THE MISSION OF THIS ORGANIZATION AND THE WELFARE OF WORKERS IN TEXAS.
