RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE (RMH) - THE UTAH RMH PROVIDED 16,170 FREE OVERNIGHT STAYS FOR 1,929 PEDIATRIC PATIENT FAMILIES (5,048 INDIVIDUALS) IN 2022. THE AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY WAS EIGHT NIGHTS. RMHC FOCUSED ITS RESOURCES ON FAMILIES WITH THE HIGHEST ACUITY CHILDREN, TRAVELING THE GREATEST DISTANCE. IN ADDITION TO FREE LODGING, WE PROVIDED DAILY HOSPITAL SHUTTLES, FAMILY GROCERIES AND 21,770 FREE MEALS.

IN DECEMBER 2022, WE ALSO LAUNCHED A NEW RMFR PROGRAM FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HOSPITAL NEWBORN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT, WITH SHOWERS, LAUNDRY, GRAB AND GO MEALS AND OVERNIGHT STAYS WITHIN THREE GUEST ROOMS.
