JPCA HAS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES. OUR MEMBERS DO CRITICALLY IMPORTANT WORK AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL AND ARE THE PUBLIC'S FIRST CONTACT WITH GOVERNMENT, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND THE JUDICIAL PROCESS. THE JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS PROUDLY REPRESENTS THE INTERESTS OF THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE ON THE FRONT LINES OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM. THE JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES ASSOCIATION, INC. VIGOROUSLY ADVOCATES FOR ITS MEMBERS' INTERESTS BEFORE THE TEXAS LEGISLATURE. WE MONITOR INTERIM STUDIES ON RELEVANT ISSUES, TESTIFY IN COMMITTEE HEARINGS, AND WORK WITH LAWMAKERS ON BILLS AFFECTING OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR DUTIES. WE CONTINUALLY STRIVE TO ENHANCE THE INTEGRITY OF THE OFFICES OF THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLE, PRESERVING THEIR POSITIONS AS ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICIALS, AND STRENTHEN THEIR COMMUNITY TIES.

TO FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS, ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES IN THEIR OFFICIAL CAPACITY, PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR JUSTICES OF THE PEACE, CONSTABLES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PERSONNEL, AND TO PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE REPORTS, DATA, AND OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION RELATIVE TO INCREASING EFFICIENCY AND ADMINISTRATION OF TEXAS JUSTICE COURTS AND CONSTABLES OFFICERS. THE PROGRAM BENEFITED 2,587 PARTICIPANTS.
