HOMEWARD BOUND PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT SERVICES FOR SOME OF TEXAS' MOST NEEDY INDIVIDUALS. HOMEWARD BOUND, INC. IS THE LARGEST SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER PROGRAM IN NORTH TEXAS, SERVES WEST TEXAS WITH CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE PROGRAMS IN EL PASO, AND PROVIDES THE ONLY STATEWIDE SPECIALIZED SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR HIV+ MEN AND WOMEN.OF THE 7,250 MEN AND WOMEN SERVED IN 2021, 98% WERE INDIGENT, AND 60% WERE HOMELESS. ALL OF THE INDIVIDUALS WERE DIAGNOSED WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER. THE PROGRAMS AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY HOMEWARD BOUND PROMOTE SOBRIETY, RESTORE AND MAXIMIZE FUNCTIONING.
