THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP; ADVANCES THE PROFESSION BY PROVIDING AWARDS AND GRANTS TO VETERINARY STUDENTS; SUPPORTS SELECT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS THAT ADVANCE THE ART AND SCIENCE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE; SUPPORTS THE VETERINARY COMMUNITY BY BEING THE PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PHILANTHROPIC ARM OF THE VETERINARY PROFESSION; AND PROVIDES GRANTS FOR DISASTER AND EMERGENCY RELIEF.
