THE BELLA FOUNDATION RAISES MONEY THROUGH FUNDRAISING, PUBLIC DONATIONS AND GRANTS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE VET CARE FOR FIXED INCOME FAMILIES AND THEIR PETS. BELLA ALSO PROVIDES MEDICAL CARE FOR ADOPTED HOMELESS PETS.

PROGRAM 1. LOW INCOME VET CARE ASSISTANCE A. THE BELLA FOUNDATION, INC. SPCA (THE ORGANIZATION)RAISES MONEY THROUGH FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND USES THE PROCEEDS TO HELP PROVIDE VET CARE FOR FAMILIES AND THEIR PETS WHO ARE IN LOWER INCOME EARNING BRACKETS BASED ON IMPOSED CRITERIA. IN 2021,THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 11,240 IN VET CARE ASSISTANCE TO APPROXIMATELY 450 PETS.
PROGRAM 2. PET ADOPTION THE ORGANIZATION PLACES FOR ADOPTION ABANDONED AND UNWANTED PETS WITH THE HELP OF APPROXIMATELY 75 VOLUNTEER FOSTER HOMES AND HAS IN ITS PROGRAM APPROXIMATELY 95 ANIMALS AVAILABLE ON ANY GIVEN DAY. THE FOCUS OF THE ADOPTION PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE HOMELESS PETS IN OKLAHOMA WITH THE NECESSARY MEDICAL AND NUTRITIONAL CARE NEEDED AS WELL AS IN-HOME TRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL EVALUATIONS. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION PLACED APPROXIMATELY 657 PETS AND PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 244,943 IN MEDICAL CARE FOR THOSE PETS BEFORE PLACING THEM IN HOMES.
THE VETERINARY CLINIC WAS OPENED TO TREAT ANIMALS IN BELLA SPCA'S ADOPTION PROGRAM, LOW INCOME CUSTOMERS, AND NON-LOW INCOME CUSTOMERS. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE ENOUGH SERVICE TO NON-LOW INCOME CUSTOMERS TO ENABLE THE ORGANIZATION TO TREAT MORE LOW INCOME CUSTOMERS' ANIMALS.
