PROVIDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT, SUSTAIN AND PROMOTE THE ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT MUSEUM AND THE HISTORY OF ARMY MEDICINE.

IN 2016 THE FOUNDATION INITIATED A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR MODERNIZATION. THERE ARE FOUR ELEMENTS TO THE MODERNIZATION. THE FIRST IS A STATE OF THE ART AUDITORIUM IN WHICH TO PROVIDE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION FOR MILITARY STUDENTS AND TO SERVE AS A VENUE FOR PUBLIC EVENTS FOCUSED ON HEALTHCARE AND MEDICAL HISTORY. THE SECOND, AND CLOSELY ALIGNED TO THE AUDITORIUM CONSTRUCTION, IS AN IMPROVED ENTRANCE TO FACILITATE PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE MUSEUM,THE NEW AUDITORIUM AND THE GIFT SHOP. THIRD, EXHIBITS WILL BE UPGRADED TO PROVIDE PALPABLE IMPACT AND LASTING MEMORIES. FOURTH, A PERGOLA WILL BE CONSTRUCTED TO HOUSE THE LATEST GENERATION OF AERO-MEDICAL EVACUATION VEHICLES AND AIRCRAFT, COMPLETING THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT OF SUCH CONVEYANCES ANYWHERE.
THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION PROVIDES FUNDS TO OPERATE A GIFT SHOP, MANAGE THE COMMEMORATIVE AND RECOGNITION BRICK PROGRAM, SUPPORT SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, ARTIFACT PURCHASES, BUILDING MAINTENANCE, AND ADMINISTRATION NEEDS. REVENUE FROM DONORS AND GIFT SHOP SALES PROVIDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION. THE GIFT SHOP EXTENDS THE ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT MUSEUM EXPERIENCE BEYOND THE VISITS FOR GUESTS AND ON-LINE SUPPORTERS. THE GIFT SHOP INVENTORY INCLUDES T-SHIRTS, CAPS, PINS, PLAQUES, SMALL DESKTOP SIZE STATUES OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL, COINS, BOOKS AND OTHER COLLECTIBLES RELATED TO THE EIGHT AMEDD CORPS AND OTHER U.S. MILITARY BRANCHES.
