(AEC) HAS PROVIDED REPRODUCTIVE, SEXUAL, AND PREVENTIVE MEDICAL SERVICES, EDUCATION FOR FAMILY PLANNING, AND PROMOTED RESEARCH IN HUMAN REPRODUCTION FOR THE PAST 58 YEARS. AEC IS THE OLDEST FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC IN HIDALGO COUNTY, LOCATED IN THE LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY ON THE SOUTHERN TEXAS BORDER WITH MEXICO. . THROUGHOUT THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, AS AN ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER, AEC HAS MAINTAINED DELIVERY OF SERVICES, KEEPING ALL CLINIC SITES OPEN AND OPERATIONAL THROUGH THE USE OF APPROPRIATE PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ITS PATIENTS AND STAFF.
