THE MORRIS COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE, INC. WAS FORMED IN 2006 TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN BUSINESS IN MORRIS COUNTY NEW JERSEY, AND TO PROVIDE VARIOUS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR COUNTY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. FROM INCEPTION THROUGH THE FALL OF 2017 THE ORGANIZATION WAS INACTIVE AND DID NOT HAVE ANY OPERATIONS. IN THE FALL OF 2017, THE ORGANIZATION COMMENCED MINIMAL ACTIVITY. DURING 2018 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED GRANTS TO 6 LOCAL GOVERNMENT MUNICIPALITIES IN PURSUING ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF PROVIDING VARIOUS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR COUNTY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. DURING 2019 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED ONE LOCAL CHARITY IN PROVIDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICE FOR THE BENEFIT OF COUNTY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. IN 2020 THE ORGANIZATION WAS IN THE PLANNING STAGE FOR ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES BUT DID NOT COMMENCE ANY OF THOSE ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES DURING 2020 OR 2021
