TO PROVIDE YOUTH WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT BUILD CHARACTER, INSTILL LIFE-ENHANCING VALUES AND PROMOTE HEALTHY CHOICES THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.

1. OUTREACH: CONDUCTS SEVEN 1-HOUR CLINICS TO INTRODUCE LOWER-INCOME STUDENTS TO THE GAME OF GOLF AND ITS INHERENT VALUE. 6,189 STUDENTS FROM 10 DIFFERENT SCHOOLS/YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS.2. EDUCATIONAL CLASSES: 43 STUDENTS AGES 7-18. SESSIONS HELD: A TOTAL OF 39.25 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION WERE DELIVERED IN 4 DISTINCT EDUCATIONAL CLASSES: STEM (15 STUDENTS ATTENDED 4 CLASSES AND 12 HOURS), READING, WRITING & MATH (12 STUDENTS RECEIVED 30 HOURS IN 11 CLASSES), ACT TEST PREP (12 STUDENTS ATTENDED 2 CLASSES FOR A TOTAL OF 6 HOURS), AND COLLEGE PREP (4 STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES ATTENDED 2 CLASSES FOR A TOTAL OF 4 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION).3. TRANSPORTATION: XXX STUDENTS WERE PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION TO FIRST TEE PROGRAMMING AT MOHAWK PARK GOLF COURSE OR ANOTHER PROGRAMMING LOCATION, AND BACK TO THE SCHOOL. THESE STUDENTS RESIDE IN LOWER INCOME AREAS AND WOULD MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF NOT PROVIDED THIS SERVICE. STUDENTS FROM 10 SCHOOLS OR YOUTH PARTNERING AGENCIES WERE TRANSPORTED. OVER 31,000 MILES WERE DRIVEN ON FOUR FIRST TEE VANS TO TRANSPORT THE STUDENTS.
