THE PURPOSE OF INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR MACHINERY LUBRICATION INC (ICML) IS TO FACILITATE THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF MACHINERY LUBRICATION, CONDITION MONITORING, RELIABILITY AND ASSET MANAGEMENT AS A TECHNICAL FIELD OF ENDEAVOR.

IN 2023, ICML IS PRESENTLY ATTENDING CONFERENCES, CONTINUING MORE IN PERSON EXAM SESSIONS AND STILL CURRENTLY OFFERS ONLINE EXAM SESSIONS AS WELL. ICML CONTINUES TO ADVOCATE FOR LUBRICATION PRACTITIONERS AND CONDUCTING ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS WITH THE VOLUNTEERS, PROCTORS, PROJECT MANAGERS TO BETTER SERVE THE LUBRICATION AND OIL ANALYSIS COMMUNITY. ICML CONTINUES TO PRESENT THE GILL AND BATTLE AWARDS TO COMPANIES, RECOGNIZING THEM FOR THEIR INNOVATION IN THE AREAS OF OIL ANALYSIS AND MACHINERY LUBRICATION. THIS EXPANDS FURTHER THE REACH OF INDUSTRY MENTORS AVAILABLE VIA ICML AND ITS BENCHMARKING OF THE WORLD-PROGRAMS. ICML ALSO CONTINUES TO BE AN INFORMATIONAL HUB FOR THE INDUSTRY IT SERVES ALONG WITH CONTINUING TO WORK WITH CANDIDATES WITH THE RENEWAL PROCESSES. THE ICML HAS CONTINUED TO ESTABLISH THE ICML 55 BY NOW OFFERING THE 55.0, 55.1, 55.2 SERIES OF BOOKS THAT RELATE TO ASSET MANAGEMENT IN THE LUBRICATION INDUSTRIES.
