TO AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEADERSHIP QUALITIES AND CULTURAL EDUCATION OF THE FARM YOUTH OF COMANCHE COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, TO ASSIST THE FARM YOUTH TO IMPROVE GRADES OF LIVESTOCK, AND TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED DURING THE YEAR IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION BY PROMOTING THE ANNUAL SPRING LIVESTOCK SHOW THAT IS A FUNCTION OF THE LOCAL 4-H AND FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA CHAPTERS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED RESOURCES THROUGH PREMIUM CASH BONUSES AND AWARDS TOTALING $377,763 TO OVER 164 AREA YOUTHS. THE SHOW ALLOWS THE PARTICIPANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THEIR LIVESTOCK PROJECTS IN A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT AGAINST OTHER YOUTHS. THE "SALE" PROCEEDS THAT THE STUDENTS RECEIVE ARE ACTUALLY A PREMIUM BONUS BECAUSE THESE STUDENTS RETAIN ALL OWNERSHIP TITLE TO THEIR LIVESTOCK PROJECTS.
SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO TWO GRADUATING SENIORS TO ASSIST THEM IN PURSUING SECONDARY EDUCATION.
