RMHC TULSA OWNS AND OPERATES THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE LOCATED IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA. THE TWENTY-FOUR BEDROOM FACILITY PROVIDES TEMPORARY LODGING TO FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL OR INJURED CHILDREN WHO MUST LEAVE THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES TO SEEK MEDICAL CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THE HOUSE IS AVAILABLE TO SERVE CHILDREN RECEIVING TREATMENT AT ALL TULSA AREA HOSPITALS. RMHC TULSA HOLDS SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND RECEIVES IN-KIND DONATIONS, WHICH INCLUDE PAPER GOODS, COPIER PAPER, FOOD ITEMS, AND LINENS. A CORE GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS HELP SUPPORT THE STAFF AND GUESTS OF THE HOUSE BY PROVIDING OFFICE ASSISTANCE, MEAL PREPARATION, MAINTENANCE, AND FUNDRAISING ASSISTANCE.
