THE ORGANIZATIONS PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR RETIRED PERSONS AGED 55 OLDER TO PARTICIPATED MORE FULLY IN THE LIFE OF THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH SIGNIFICANT VOLUNTEER SERVICE.

RSVP OF ENID AND NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA, INC. ENDED 2021 WITH 452 ACTIVE SENIOR VOLUNTEERS WHO CONTRIBUTED 76,000 HOURS OF SERVICE. OUR VOLUNTEERS HAD 54 STATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM IN A FIVE-COUNTY CATCHMENT AREA INCLUDING GARFIELD, GRANT, NOBLE, ALFALFA, AND MAJOR COUNTIES. OUR AVERAGE COSTS OF SERVICE TO THESE FIVE AREAS WERE .52 CENTS PER HOUR. OKLAHOMAS VALUE ON VOLUNTEER SERVICES IS 18.86 PER HOUR. THROUGH THEIR COLLECTIVE VOLUNTEER SERVICE TO THESE COUNTIES, RSVP VOLUNTEERS SAVED THOSE COMMUNITIES OVER 1 MILLION. THE AGENCY CONTINUES TO WORK IN THE ENID INFORMATION CENTER AND CONTINUES THE OPERATION OF THE RSVP SENIOR SOCIAL CENTER.
RSVP HAS CREATED NEW PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS TO INCLUDE SERVING OUR MOST VULNERABLE POPULATIONS WITH LINKAGES AND RESOURCES TO HELP THEM LIVE INDEPENDENTLY IN THEIR HOMES FOR LONGER. THROUGH THE ENID MOBILE MEALS PROGRAM, REACHING OUR 123 RECIPIENTS, THEY CAN NOW RECEIVE HOMEBOUND BOOK DELIVERY, HOME REPAIR SERVICE TO INCLUDE MINOR HOME REPAIRS, GROCERY SHOPPING BUDDIES, TELEPHONE BUDDIES, TRANSPORTATION TO THE SENIOR CENTER, AND A HANDY MAN SERVICE, WITH THE COORDINATED PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ELDER ABUSE TASK FORCE TO BE ABLE TO HELP STOP ELDER ABUSE IN OUR SERVICE AREA.
