THE EDMOND AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS A VOICE FOR BUSINESS. WE ENHANCE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN EDMOND.

MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT - THE CHAMBER CONTINUALLY STRIVES TO DEVELOP NETWORKING, MARKETING, EDUCATIONAL AND ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.


ANNUAL BANQUET - THE ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET IS HELD TO HONOR CHAMBER AND COMMUNITY LEADERS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE YEAR. THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AWARD IS THE SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD, FOR WHICH 50 BUSINESSES ARE TYPICALLY NOMINATED. BASED ON THEIR WRITTEN APPLICATIONS, 3 FINALISTS ARE NAMED AND THEN THOSE FINALISTS GO THROUGH AN INTERVIEW PROCESS. THE WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD, YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD, AND COMMUNITY CITIZEN OF THE YEAR YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD, AND COMMUNITY CITIZEN OF THE YEAR


LEADERSHIP EDMOND IS A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY LEADERS WITH A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CRITICAL ISSUES AFFECTING THE EDMOND AREA. THE PROGRAM BEGINS WITH A TWO DAY OVERNIGHT RETREAT WHICH FOCUSES ON COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE REMAINING 8 DAY LONG SESSIONS MEET ONCE A MONTH AND EACH FOCUS ON A SPECIFIC COMMUNITY TOPIC SUCH AS CITY GOVERNMENT, EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, STATE GOVERNMENT, AND CULTURE / RECREATION. CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO 35 INDIVIDUALS. CLASS MEMBERS ARE SELECTED TO REPRESENT A BROAD RANGE OF OCCUPATIONS AND BACKGROUNDS. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE IN-DEPTH EXPOSURE TO THE CRITICAL ISSUES FACING THE COMMUNITY.
