TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE SUPPORT TO THE WINDOM AREA HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN ADDITION TO GENERAL OPERATIONS. GENERAL FUND:- MAY 2023 LETTERS RAISED $6,640 FUNDS TOWARD AN OBIX FETAL MONITORING MACHINE. WINTER 2023/2024 LETTERS RAISED $18,810.40 TOWARD A NEW STRESS TEST MACHINE, WHICH IS TRANSFERRED TO THE HOSPITAL IN FY25. - THE SECOND EVER FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT WAS JUNE 18, 2023. IN ADDITION TO GOLF AND GAMES, FIVE PRIZE BASKETS WERE RAFFLED OFF. PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WENT TOWARDS THE OBIX MACHINE PURCHASE. - THE FOUNDATION RAISED AROUND $3,400 TO FUND GIFTS GIVEN TO THE FAMILY OF THE FIRST BABY OF THE NEW YEAR. - THE FOUNDATION SPONSORED THE PURCHASE OF AN INDOOR GOLF CART TO TRANSPORT AND ESCORT PATIENTS FOR AN IMPROVED PATIENT EXPERIENCE. - WE AWARD UP TO THREE DEPARTMENTS WITH GRANTS UP TO $5,000 FOR EQUIPMENT OF THEIR CHOOSING, THAT ADVANCES QUALITY OF CARE AND AN IMPROVED PATIENT EXPERIENCE. AWARDS FOR AN ABI MACHINE, ADULT VEIN FINDER, AND PHLEOBOTOMY PROCEDURE RECLINER WERE SELECTED, UP TO $5,000 EACH, AND PAID OUT IN FY25. FY25 AWARDS WERE SELECTED: BODY COMPOSITION ANALYZER, IMPRIVATA CARD READERS, AND A FULL BODY ERGOMETER MACHINE. EDUCATION FUND:AWARDED SIX $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS TO AREA HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO ARE PLANNING TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION IN THE AREA OF HEALTHCARE. WE SELECTED THE NEXT FIVE RECIPIENTS FOR NEXT YEAR'S AWARDS, TO BE PAID OUT IN FY 25. VICKIE SCHENDEL MEMORIAL FUND:THIS FUND SUPPORTS STAFF AND PATIENT EDUCATION PROJECTS, IN MEMORY OF A FORMER NURSE PRACTITIONER. NO PAYOUTS WERE MADE THIS FISCAL YEAR. WOMEN'S HEALTH FUND:CO-HOSED A "ROCK THE RINK PINK" HOCKEY EVENT TO RAISED $2,352.15 FOR OUR WOMEN'S HEALTH FUND. THIS FUND SUPPORTED THREE WOMEN UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENTS WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UP TO $5,000 EACH.
