DELTA DENTAL OF MINNESOTA FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, OR TO CARRY OUT THE PUBLIC HEALTH PURPOSE OF THE DELTA DENTAL SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS IN MINNESOTA AND INITIALLY FOR DENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH.

DELTA DENTAL OF MINNESOTA FOUNDATION'S (THE FOUNDATION) FOCUS IS TO PROMOTE ACCESS TO ORAL HEALTH IN MINNESOTA, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO INCREASING ACCESS AMONG UNDERSERVED PERSONS, GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES. THE PRIMARY ACTION AREAS ARE: A) INCREASE ACCESS TO ORAL HEALTH BY OPTIMIZING THE CAPACITY OF THE SAFETY NET ORAL HEALTH SYSTEM; B) IMPROVE ACCESS BY ASSISTING AND EXPANDING THE ORAL HEALTH WORKFORCE TO MEET FUTURE NEEDS; AND, C) EXPAND ACCESS TO EFFECTIVE ORAL HEALTH PREVENTION AND EDUCATION SERVICES.
