SOCCER COMPETITION-SOCCER LEAGUE SESSIONS WERE SPONSORED IN THE FALL AND SPRING. YOUTH AGES 5 THROUGH 18 WERE REGISTERED AND PLACED INTO SIMILAR-AGED TEAMS TO COMPETE IN A LEAGUE. NELSA ALSO HAS AN ADULT LEAGUE. THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS ALL FIELDS AND EQUIPMENT USED BY THE TEAMS. SOCCER FIELDS AROUND THE COMMUNITY ARE USED BY THE TEAMS FOR PRACTICICE BY NELSA ON LAND LEASED FROM THE CITY OF MONROE. COMPLETED COSTS RELATED TO THE COMPLEX ARE REPORTED ON THE BALANCE SHEET AS LAND, BUILDING, AND EQUIPMENT. ANY CONTRIBUTIONS DESIGNATED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE REPORTED AS REVENUES.
