NASHVILLE DENTAL SOCIETY PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUED EDUCATION CREDITS AND MAINTAINS A LIST TO HELP THE PUBLIC FIND A DENTIST IN THEIR AREA. THE SOCIETY'S MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL MEMBER TYPES WAS 662 MEMBERS INCLUDING 526 ACTIVE MEMBERS, 8 RETIRED MEMBERS, 94 ACTIVE LIFE MEMBERS, 126 RETIRED LIFE MEMBERS AND 2 MEMBERS ON PERMANENT WAIVERS. 172 OF THE ACTIVE MEMBERS ARE IN THEIR FIRST 10 YEARS OF PRACTICE AND CONSIDERED NEW DENTISTS BY THE ADA. HELD 5 MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS WITH AN AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF 133 MEMBERS AS WELL AS SOCIALS FOR NEW DENTISTS, COMMITTEE MEETINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS.
