THE AAMD IS THE PRIMARY RESOURCE FOR MEDICAL DOSIMETRISTS AND TREATMENT PLANNERS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. WE ARE THE ONLY PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION DEVOTED EXCLUSIVELY TO PROMOTING AND SUPPORTING THE MEDICAL DOSIMETRY AND TREATMENT PLANNING PROFESSION.

JOURNAL: PRODUCTION OF MEDICAL DOSIMETRY, A QUARTERLY, PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL FOCUSED ON MEDICAL DOSIMETRY AND RELATED ISSUES IN RADIATION ONCOLOGY.
MEETINGS: IN-PERSON EVENTS FOR MEDICAL DOSIMETRY CONTINUING EDUCATION, INCLUDING AN ANNUAL MEETING FOR 500-600 ATTENDEES, AND A SPRING REGIONAL MEETING FOR 60-100 ATTENDEES. IN FY2021, THE AAMD ANNUAL MEETING AND THE SPRING MEETING WERE HELD VIRTUALLY.
MEMBERSHIP: AAMD MEMBERSHIP HELPS MEDICAL DOSIMETRISTS MAINTAIN THEIR CMD CREDENTIAL BY PROVIDING ONLINE AND IN-PERSON EDUCATIONAL CONTENT FOR CE CREDITS, A SUBSCRIPTION (HARD COPY AND/OR ONLINE) TO THE JOURNAL, ACCESS TO SALARY SURVEYS, JOB LISTINGS AND OTHER CAREER DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES, AND A REPRESENTATIVE VOICE IN THE HEALTHCARE AND, SPECIFICALLY, RADIATION ONCOLOGY COMMUNITIES.
