THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL AND REHABILITATION PROJECTS FOR CHILDREN IN ISRAEL TRAUMATIZED OR SUBJECT TO TERROR AND ASSISTANCE TO THEIR FAMILIES.

GRANTS IN THE AMOUNT OF 980,000 TO KEREN SHILOH L'YALDEI ISRAEL (A REGISTERED ISRAELI NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION) WHICH HAS THE SAME PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE AS SHILOH ISRAEL CHILDREN'S FUND, INC., WERE USED TO HELP WITH EXPENSES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE THERAPY CENTER, SUPPORT GROUPS FOR CHILDREN WITH LEARNING CHALLENGES, PARENTING WORKSHOPS TO HELP PARENTS COPE WITH THE DIFFICULTIES OF RAISING CHILDREN IN ISRAEL'S HEARTLAND, PSYCHOTHERAPY, SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION AND CAMPS FOR CHILDREN TRAUMATIZED BY TERROR. THE MOST NOTABLE EVENT BY FAR IN 2023 WAS THE MASSACRE OF OCTOBER 7TH IN WHICH 1,200 ISRAELIS WERE BRUTALLY MURDERED, TORTURED, RAPED, AND BEHEADED BY GAZAN ARAB TERRORISTS AND CIVILIANS. THE SURVIVORS WERE QUICKLY EVACUATED TO SAFER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY. THE MIFGASH SHILOH THERAPY CENTER WAS CONTACTED BY THE ISRAELI MINISTRY OF DEFENSE TO PROVIDE IMMEDIATE AND ONGOING THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT TO MANY OF THE MASSACRE VICTIM FAMILIES, WHO HAD BEEN RELOCATED TO THE CENTER OF THE COUNTRY. THUS, BEGAN A MAJOR PROJECT WHICH HAS CONTINUED INTO 2024, TO PROVIDE MOBILE THERAPEUTIC SERVICES. THIS, IN ADDITION TO THE SKYROCKETING DEMANDS FOR POST-TRAUMA TREATMENTS THAT IS A CLEAR RESULT OF THE MASSACRE, THE WAR, AND THE SURGE IN TERRORISM, HAS CREATED THE NEED FOR INCREASED FUNDING, WHICH IS EXPECTED TO GROW SUBSTANTIALLY IN 2024.
