THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH THE BUREAU OF TENNCARE, THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF INTELLECTUAL & DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND OTHER GROUPS TO IMPROVE THE VOLUME AND QUALITY OF PREVENTATIVE HEALTH SCREENS AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDED TO THE CHILDREN OF TENNESSEE.
THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY ON ISSUES IMPACTING THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE OF INFANTS, CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, AS WELL AS ISSUES AFFECTING THE PEDIATRICIANS WHO CARE FOR THEM.
