JOAQUIN MORAGA INTERMEDIATE PTA IS DEDICATED TO THE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF OUR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION THROUGH THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE CALIFORNIA PTA. WE STRIVE TO KEEP PARENTS INFORMED ABOUT VITAL STATE AND FEDERAL EDUCATION ISSUES.

ENRICHMENT----------PTA PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS AND CLASSROOMS. THESE ENRICHMENT FUNDS SUPPLEMENTED NEARLY ALL GRADE LEVELS TO ALLOW THE PURCHASE OF MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES OUTSIDE THE REGULAR SCOPE OF GRADE REQUIREMENTS. PTA ALSO SUPPORTED TEACHERS BY ENABLING THEM TO PURCHASE CLASS SUPPLIES AND BOOKS TO SUPPLEMENT SCHOOL RESOURCES.
HOT LUNCHES-----------THE PTA PROVIDES FUNDING FOR THE HOT LUNCH PROGRAM AT JOAQUIN MORAGA INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL. STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FREE OR REDUCED PRICE MEALS UNDER THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM ARE THE PRINCIPAL BENEFICIARIES.
OTHER PROGRAMS--------------ADDITIONAL PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE PURCHASING ITEMS FOR SCHOOL SPIRIT, SUCH AS (1) GIFT WRAP, (2) SPIRITWEAR, (3) SOCIAL EVENTS AND (4) PUBLISHING THE BI-WEEKLY PTA NEWSLETTER AND THE ANNUAL STUDENT DIRECTORY.
