MY SISTERS HOUSE MISSION IS TO SERVE ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER AND OTHER UNDERSERVED WOMEN AND CHILDREN IMPACTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING BY PROVIDING A CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE AND RESPONSIVE SAFE HAVEN, JOB TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES.

SHELTER / HOUSING PROGRAM - OPERATED A SIX-BED EMERGENCY SHELTER (SAFE HAVEN) AND TWO SIX-BED TRANSITIONAL HOUSES. PROVIDED 8,000 NIGHTS OF SHELTER, UTILITIES, FOOD, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES. ALSO ASSISTED CLIENTS WITH FINDING AND SECURING HOUSING.
WOMEN TO WORK PROGRAM - PROVIDED MORE THAN 357 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS WITH HELP TO ATTAIN FINANCIAL SELF-SUFFICIENCY. ADDITIONALLY, ASSISTED 674 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS WITH RESTRAINING ORDERS, CHILD CUSTODY, IMMIGRATION, MENTAL HEALTH, AND OTHER NEEDS.
OUTREACH AND EDUCATION - PROVIDED OVER 24 VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. HELPED TRAIN 50 NEW DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATES. ENGAGED NEARLY 600 PEOPLE TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
