MY SISTERS HOUSE MISSION IS TO SERVE ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER AND OTHER UNDERSERVED WOMEN AND CHILDREN IMPACTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING BY PROVIDING A CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE AND RESPONSIVE SAFE HAVEN, JOB TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES.

SHELTER: AS OF MARCH 30, WE ARE AT 4981 NIGHTS OF SHELTER BEING PROVIDED WITH 4 SHELTERS IN OPERATION. ABOUT 1550 CALLS HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN BY THE CRISIS LINE.


OUTREACH: 22 TRAININGS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED AND ABOUT 39 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATES HAVE ATTENDED OUR 40 HOUR TRAINING. OVERALL, MY SISTER'S HOUSE HAS ENGAGED CLOSE TO 3,000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN TAKING A STAND AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND HATE AGAINST THE ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER POPULATION.


WOMEN TO WORK: 574 CLIENTS HAVE RECEIVED LEGAL SERVICES AS IT PERTAINS TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND SEXUAL ASSAULT ALONG WITH SOME IMMIGRATION SERVICES RELATED TO THE THREE MENTIONED VICTIMIZATION TYPES.
