YOUTH PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE VARIOUS SCOUT OUTINGS (HIKES, CAMPING TRIPS AND SUMMER CAMPS), AS WELL AS COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING SERVICING APPROXIMATELY 50 BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS AGES 11-17.
RECRUITING/RETENTION/TRAINING SERVES THE TROOP AND THE COMMUNITY BY TRAINING ADULT LEADERS IN OUTDOOR EDUCATION AND SAFETY CLASSES REQUIRED BY BSA AND PROVIDING FOR ADVANCEMENT OF MEMBERS OF TROOP 224 WITHIN THE BSA.
RECOGNITION PROGRAMS INCLUDE COSTS FOR CEREMONIES HONORING ACHIEVEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT OF TROOP 224 MEMBERS SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR IN RANK ADVANCEMENT, SERVICE PROJECTS AND RECOGNITION OF RECIPIENTS OF THE BSA EAGLE SCOUT RANK.
