HUMANITARIAN PROGRAM - DELIVERING HUNGER RELIEF, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND ESSENTIAL SERVICES DUE TO COVID AND NATURAL DISASTERS AROUND THE WORLD.
A GRANT PROVIDED TO A FOREIGN CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, THE SAI MAA VISHNU SHAKTI TRUST, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SATHYA SAI MAA MOKSHA DHAM ASHRAM IN KASHI (VARANASI), INDIA. THE ASHRAM WILL BE A SACRED SANCTUARY THAT PROVIDES SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENTS AND HUMANITARIAN SERVICES. IT WILL PROVIDE A SACRED SPACE FOR INDIVIDUALS TO GATHER WITH A SHARED PURPOSE OF DEVOTING THEMSELVES TO THEIR INNER LIFE AND SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT; WILL OFFER COMMUNITY LIFE, EDUCATION, COMMON SPIRITUAL PRACTICES, THAT LEAD TO INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP TRANSFORMATION AND SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION. THE ASHRAM WILL BE THE CENTER FOR A BROAD RANGE OF HUMANITARIAN PROGRAMS IN INDIA, INCLUDING FEEDING THE POOR AND LOCAL CHILDREN AS WELL AS A CATARACT SURGERY PROGRAM.
