THE CALIFORNIA VISION FOUNDATION HAS CONTINUED ITS EFFORTS TO WORK WITH LOCAL HEALTH CLINICS AND HEALTH SERVICE AGENCIES, IN MAKING AVAILABLE THE VISION CARE SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES WHO LACK APPROPRIATE MEDICAL INSURANCE TO COVER VISION EXAMS AND CORRECTION SERVICES. IN ADDITION, CONTINUED EFFORTS WERE BEING MADE TO MORE EFFECTIVELY LINK POTENTIAL PATIENTS WITH VOLUNTEER OPTOMETRISTS THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA.
