THROUGH PRO BONO PROFESSIONALS, STLI PROVIDES MEDICAL, EDUCATIONAL, BUSINESS, AGRICULTURAL AND OTHER TRAINING TO THE PEOPLE OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC AND THE KURDISTAN REGION OF IRAQ. STLI'S MAJOR PROJECTS IN KYRGYZSTAN PROVIDE TRAINING IN A WIDE VARIETY OF FIELDS, INCLUDING FAMILY MEDICINE, NURSING, RURAL HEALTH, MENTAL HEALTH, WOMEN'S ISSUES, DENTAL HYGIENE, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, CARING FOR AND PREVENTING DISABILITIES IN CHILDREN, ENGLISH LANGUAGE, SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, AGRIBUSINESS, AND APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGIES.
