HELD VARIOUS BOOT CAMPS, WIOA ACTION CLINICS, DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT ACCELERATOR TRAININGS, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS RELATED TO WIOA TITLE 1 YOUTH PROGRAM SERVICES AND ONE STOP OPERATOR. PRODUCED SEVERAL CAPACITY BUILDING TRAININGS AROUND THE STATE INCLUDING: CASE MANAGEMENT, ENTREPRENEUR TRAINING, AND AN OVERVIEW OF THE NEW FEDERAL LEGISLATION. CONTINUED THE EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PANELS, WHICH ASSIST LOCAL WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARDS TO WORK MORE CLOSELY WITH EMPLOYERS TO HELP THEM TRAIN INCUMBENT WORKERS.
CWA SPONSORS THREE CONFERENCES A YEAR. THE YOUTH CONFERENCE FOCUSES ON MENTORING AND EDUCATING THE YOUTH ON THE WORKFORCE. THE ANNUAL SPRING MEMBERSHIP CONFERENCE IS DESIGNED FOR BOARD MEMBERS, PARTNERS, AND FRONT LINE STAFF. THE ANNUAL FALL POLICY CONFERENCE WAS DESIGNED FOR THE WORKFORCE POLICY MAKERS AT BOTH THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS.
