PROMOTE RECREATIONAL SWIMMING IN THE COMMUNITY

DURING THE 2022 FISCAL YEAR, THE EL DORADO HILLS SWIM TEAM POSITIVELY IMPACTED APPROXIMATELY 400 KIDS AGES 4-18, RESIDING IN EL DORADO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, BY PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL SWIM COACHING IN A SUPPORTIVE, COMMUNITY-ORIENTED TEAM SETTING FOR A 3-MONTH RECREATIONAL SUMMER SWIM SEASON. IN ADDITION TO THE 400 KIDS ON OUR TEAM, WE HOSTED MEETS FOR APPROXIMATELY 1,200 ADDITIONAL KIDS FROM THE SACRAMENTO REGION. 100% OF OUR SWIMMERS IMPROVED THEIR SWIMMING TECHNIQUE, SKILLS WHICH WILL SERVE THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES, WHILE ALSO BUILDING STRONG FRIENDSHIPS AND LEARNING TO COMPETE WITH GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. IN ADDITION TO OUR SWIMMERS, WE ALSO EMPLOYED FIFTEEN TEENAGE COACHES SOME AS VOLUNTEERS, SOME AS PAID EMPLOYEES. FOR MANY, THIS WAS THEIR FIRST JOB AND WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE PROVIDED THEM IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS AS THEY MATURE AND LOOK FORWARD TO COLLEGE AND A CAREER. FINALLY, WE ALSO HOSTED TWO 8-WEEK SKILLS CLINICS, EACH OF WHICH PROVIDED SWIM INSTRUCT
