TWO EMPLOYEES CONDUCTED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN PHYSICAL OCEANOGRAPHY, ONE IN COMPUTATIONAL SCIENCE, TWENTY-THREE IN MATERIALS SCIENCE, TWO IN PHYSICS, AND ONE IN PUBLIC POLICY. THE RESULTS OF THE CONDUCTED SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH WERE PUBLISHED IN PEER-REVIEWED SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS, BOOKS, AND/OR REPORTS, PRESENTED AT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES, AND/OR PROVIDED ONLINE. FOUR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WERE HIRED.
