CSR REPRESENTED OVER 41,000 RETIRED EMPLOYEES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN THE FOLLOWING MANNERS: RETIREMENT BENEFITS, HEALTHCARE, PAY INCREASES, PENSION PROTECTION AND LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY IN SUPPORT OF PROGRAMS BENEFICIAL TO STATE RETIREES.
CSR EDUCATES MEMBERS ON ISSUES RELATED TO RETIREMENT BENEFITS BY HOLDING CSR CHAPTER MEETINGS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. CSR PUBLISHED A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER FOR THE MEMBERS' EDUCATION ON IMPORTANT ISSUES RELATED TO THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION.
CSR CONDUCTED THE ANNUAL LOBBY DAY AT THE STATE CAPITOL, ATTENDED BY MORE THAN 200 MEMBERS. MEMBERS MET WITH THEIR LEGISLATORS AND STAFF TO DISCUSS ISSUES RELATED TO PROTECTING MEMBERS PENSIONS AND BENEFITS.
