TO EDUCATE POLICY MAKERS ON IMPORTANCE OF OCEANS AND COASTS TO FLORIDA ENVIRONMENT & ECONOMY, WHICH WAS ACHIEVED WITH AN OCEANS DAY EVENT. ACTIVITIES: EXHIBITS WERE HELD IN THE STATE CAPITOL ROTUNDA 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR, AND WORKSHOPS HELD IN THE HISTORIC CAPITOL.
DEVELOP A STRATEGIC POLICY PLAN FOR FLORIDA'S OCEANS AND COASTS: THIS INCLUDED STEERING COMMITTEE MEETINGS INCLUDING ZOOM MEETINGS, AND FINALIZING THE ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY AND STRATEGIC PLAN DEVELOPMENT. THIS INCLUDED A FINAL REPORT TO THE FDEP.
