PROVIDE ARTS-BASED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING TO DEVELOP SELF-GROWTH AND EFFECTIVE LIFE SKILLS FOR INCARCERATED WOMEN, MEN AND YOUTH, AS WELL AS OTHER AT-RISK POPULATIONS IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES, USING THE ARTS FOR HEALING AND SOCIAL CHANGE.

Part 3
INSIDE OUT-ARTS WORKSHOPS FOR INCARCERATED WOMEN IS THE LONGEST RUNNING ONGOING PRISON ARTS PROGRAM IN FLORIDA. DURING 2014, 29 PROGRAMS WERE OFFERED TO OVER 480 ADULT WOMEN & MEN AT HOMESTEAD AND EVERGLADES CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS. THE PROGRAMS ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO FIND AN EXPRESSIVE VOICE TO ADDRESS THEIR ISSUES, MAKE GOOD CHOICES, AND CHANGE DESTRUCTIVE PATTERNS OF BEHAVIOR.
SEVERAL YOUTH PROGRAMS, BASED ON THE SUCCESSFUL INSIDE OUT MODEL, WERE OFFERED TO OVER 800 BOYS AND GIRLS HOUSED AT THE MIAMI-DADE REGIONAL JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER AND YOUTH WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE SERVICE NETWORK FOR CHILDREN OF INMATES.
ARTSPRING SUCCESSFULLY RECRUITS SOME OF THE BEST LOCAL ARTISTS FROM A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES TO DELIVER ITS UNIQUE CURRICULUM, OFFERING ARTIST TRAINING SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS ARE ALSO OFFERED TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
