TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND PHYSICAL ASSISTANCE TO THE POOR IN GUATEMALA, ESPECIALLY TO ORPHANS AND CHILDREN WHOSE FAMILIES ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE FOR THEM. WE SUPPORT FOSTER CARE FAMILIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUATEMALAN GOVERNMENT PROTOCOLS CONCERNING FOSTER CARE. IN PARTICULAR, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF A SCHOOL IN CHIMALTENANGO, GUATEMALA. THERE ARE OVER 300 STUDENTS WHO ATTEND THE ONSITE SCHOOL. THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE FAMILIES WE SUPPORT VARIES FROM TIME TO TIME.

THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDS ARE USED TO SUPPORT THE OPERATION OF THE ON SITE SCHOOL IN CHIMALTENAGO, GUATEMALA. WE SUPPORT SOME OF THE STUDENTS THAT FINISH THE SCHOOL AND CONTINUE ELSE WHERE FOR HIGH SCHOOL. WE ARE ALSO PURSUING THE FOSTER CARE MODEL THAT GUATEMALAN GOVERNMENT HAS INSTITUTED. WE ARE BEGINNING TO SUPPORT FAMILIES THAT ARE TAKING IN CHILDREN FROM THE HOME THAT CANNOT BE PLACED ELSEWHERE


THE ORGANIZATION HAS PRIMARY MISSION DESCRIBED IN EXPLANATION NUMBER 1 IS THE OPERATION OF THE SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL HAS OVER 300 STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS COME FROM THE IMPOVERISHED NEIGHBORHOOD THAT IS LOCATED NEXT TO THE ORGANIZATION'S PROPERTY. THE SCHOOL HAS 23 TEACHERS AND IS CONSIDERED EXCELLENT. THE SCHOOL ONLY GOES THROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR QUALIFIED MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADUATES TO PURSUE HIGH SCHOOL IN OTHER AREA OF THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED $4081.09 WORTH OF SCHOLARSHIPS THIS YEAR


THE ORGANIZATION UPGRADED BUILDINGS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY USED AS DORMITORIES FOR THE CHILDREN'S HOME, SO THEY COULD ALSO FUNCTION AS TRAINING FACILITIES FOR PASTORS AND TEACHER DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING. WE ALSO STARTED THE DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING
