COMMUNITY IDS WE HOSTED A DRIVE-IN RALLY WITH HUNDREDS OF RESIDENTS WATCHING IN THEIR CARS AND ONLINE AND GOT THE COUNTY POLICE DIRECTOR TO CHANGE HIS POSITION AND SUPPORT LAUNCHING A COMMUNITY ID PROGRAM.
POLICING AND ARRESTS WE CONTINUED OUR WORK WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS AROUND THE STATE TO SUPPORT THE EXPANSION OF YOUTH CIVIL CITATIONS AND VOTED TO BEGIN WORK TO EXPAND ADULT CIVIL CITATIONS AS WELL. WE COLLECTED DOZENS OF STORIES FROM OUR MEMBERSHIP ABOUT THE IMPACTS OF UNNECESSARY ADULT ARRESTS.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING WE HELPED INFORM THE COUNTY'S AFFORDABLE HOUSING FRAMEWORK AND INFORMED THE PUBLIC OF ITS CONTENTS AT PUBLIC MEETINGS WE WORKED TO GET A COUNTY ORDINANCE PASSED TO CHANGE THE MONTH-TO-MONTH RENTAL TERMINATION NOTICE PERIOD FROM 15 TO 30 DAYS (FINAL PASSAGE IN EARLY 2021).
