THE GOAL OF CAMP RISING SUN IS TO PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH A TRADITIONAL CAMP EXPERIENCE WHILE RECOGNIZING AND MEETING THEIR HEALTH NEEDS. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, CAMP RISING SUN HAS TO BE STAFFED 24 HOURS A DAY BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, FULLY TRAINED COUNSELORS, AND MANY LOCAL VOLUNTEERS. ALL FUNDS SOLICITED FROM CONTRIBUTORS GO TOWARDS MEETING THE MANY PHYSICAL COSTS OF RUNNING A CAMP. THE PURPOSE OF CAMP RISING SUN IS STRICTLY NOT FOR PROFIT.
