MISSISSIPPI UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN FOUNDATION IS A MISSISSIPPI NON PROFIT CHARTERED TO FOSTER, ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF MISSISSIPPI UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN BY PROVIDING VITAL PRIVATE SUPPORT TO ENRICH AND EMBRACE THE ACADEMIC QUALITY AND REPUTATION OF THE UNIVERSITY.

The goal of this organization is to provide gas, electricity, water and sanitary services including the hook-up of services and the installation, maintenance and repair of necessary equipment.

IT IS THE MISSION OF THE COLUMBUS-LOWNDES HUMANE SOCIETY TO PROTECT ANMALS FROM SUFFERING AND CRUELTY, TO PROVIDE CARE FOR ANIMALS AFFLICTED BY NEGLECT, ABANDONMENT AND EXPLOITATION AND TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF ANIMALS AND PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATION, ADOPTION AND COMPASSION.

TO PROMOTE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSISSIPPI SCHOOL FOR THE MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE. THE FOUNDATION SHALL STRIVE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN KEEPING WITH THE OBJECTIVES AND INTEGRITY OF THE SCHOOL AND ITS MISSION.

TO PROMOTE AND KEEP STRONG FRATERNAL BONDS JOINING HONORABLY DISCHARGED OVERSEAS VETERANS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE U.S.A.TO PROVIDE SUITABLE FACILITIES FOR THE MEETING, RECREATION AND ENTERTAINMENT, OF ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.TO PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN HIGH IDEALS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, PATRIOTISM, AND JUSTICE IN THE COMMUNITY AND COUNTY.TO PROMOTE AND CONDUCT SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENTS, FUNCTIONS, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN KEEPING WITH THE AIMS OF THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS.THE RIGHTS AND POWERS THAT MAY BE EXERCISED BY THIS CORPORATION, IN ADDITION TO THE FOREGOING, ARE THOSE CONFERRED BY CHAPTER 4, TITLE 21 CODE OF MISSISSIPPI OF 1942 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.

TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO THOSE LIVING IN SUBSTANDARD HOUSING AT NO INTEREST COST AND BELOW MARKET VALUE.
