THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION COURSES DURING THE YEAR. THE COURSES PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MEMBERS AND OTHER ACCOUNTANTS THAT ALLOW THEM TO MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY AND MEET THE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROFESSION.
THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION FOR ITS MEMBERS. THE CONVENTION INCLUDES MEETINGS WITH SPEAKERS ON TOPICS OF CURRENT INTEREST TO THE PROFESSION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES. THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO HELD AT THE CONVENTION.
