ACTIVITIES ARE CENTERED AROUND PROVIDING EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND MEDICAL TRANSPORT TO RESIDENTS OF CRENSHAW COUNTY, ALABAMA. LUVERNE RESCUE SQUAD, INC. IS LICENSED BY THE ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AS A LEVEL 1 ALS PROVIDER. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROVIDING OUT-OF-HOSPITAL TREATMENT AS WELL AS EMERGENCY AND NON- EMERGENCY TRANSPORTS FROM LOCAL HOSPITALS TO LARGER FACILITIES. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEER EMTS AND PARAMEDICS. ACTIVITIES ARE FUNDED BY LOCAL GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENTS.
