UNITED WAY OF MARSHALL COUNTY UTILIZES A VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN PROCESS TO INVEST RESOURCES IN INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS WHICH MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN HUNDREDS OF WAYS AND THOUSANDS OF LIVES THROUGHOUT THIS COUNTY. BY TAPPING THE COMMUNITY'S EXPERTISE AND RESOURCES, WE EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY REACH PEOPLE IN IMMEDIATE NEED AND SOLVE PROBLEMS FOR THE LONG TERM. WE TARGET ISSUES AT THE HEART OF A HEALTHY COMMUNITY. OUR EFFORTS FOCUSED ON STRENGTHENING FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY; HELPING KIDS SUCCEED; PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND HEALTH AND MEETING BASIC NEEDS, WHICH INCLUDE EDUCATION, INCOME AND HEALTH. UNITED WAY SUPPORTS 20 PROGRAMS AT PARTNER AGENCIES IN MARSHALL COUNTY BY ALLOCATING FUNDS TO VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND AGENCIES THAT MEET CRITICAL NEEDS.
