THE PROGRAM'S PURPOSE IS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE LESS FORTUNATE. OUR FOCUS HAS MOVED TOWARDS TEACHING INDEPENDENT LIVING FOR OLDER TEENS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY THE FOLLOWING: A. HELPING THEM FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION B. TEACHING THEM VARIOUS SKILLS SUCH AS CARPENTRY, AGRICULTURE, SHOP, CATERING, ETC. C. INSTRUCTING THEM IN SOCIAL SKILLS D. PROVIDING A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT THE PARTICIPANTS COME FROM VARIOUS SOURCES; SUCH AS YOUNG PEOPLE LEAVING FOSTER HOMES, ALCOHOL & DRUG REHAB CENTERS & PRIVATE REFERRALS. ALL CLIENTS ARE SCREENED. THOSE WHO DEMONSTRATE A WILLINGNESS TO IMPROVE THEIR STANDARD OF LIFE AND ARE WILLING TO COOPERATE WITH THE PROGRAM ARE ACCEPTED.
