AMERICAN LEGION POST 88 INC. IS ORGANIZED UNDER SECTION 501(C)(19). IT OPERATES A MEMBERS ONLY LOUNGE WHICH SERVES AS A FELLOWSHIP HALL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITY FOR VETERANS AND THEIR AUXILIARY SPOUSES. THIS ESTABLISHES COOPERATION AND THE FOUNDATION FOR WORKING COMMITTEES. THESE COMMITTEES PROMOTE PATRIOTIC EDUCATIONAL STUDENT DEBATES, PROVIDES SERVICES FOR NEEDY VETERANS, ESTABLISHES AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING CIVIC CONTRIBUTIONS AND PROMOTES DEVOTION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ITS ARMED FORCES AND ITS FLAG.
