STILL SERVING VETERANS HELPS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES SECURE FULFILLING EMPLOYMENT, ACCESS TO VA BENEFITS EARNED THROUGH MILITARY SERVICE AND OTHER RESOURCES NEEDED TO BUILD SATISFYING CIVILIAN LIVES. WE ALSO STRIVE TO STRENGHTEN OUR VETERAN COMMUNITIES WITH LEADERSHIP AND COLLABORATION.

DURING 2023, STILL SERVING VETERANS (SSV) SECURED OVER $86 MILLION IN NEW SALARIES THROUGH OUR CAREER AND TRANSITION PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS VETERANS, TRANSITIONING MILITARY AND MEMBERS OF THE GUARD AND RESERVE. OUR TEAM OF COUNSELORS, WHO ARE ALL VETERANS, HELP CLIENTS TRANSLATE THEIR MILITARY SKILLS INTO CIVILIAN LANGUAGE, AND CREATE A RESUME AND A LINKED IN PROFILE. CLIENTS ALSO LEARN SALARY NEGOTIATION AND INTERVIEW SKILLS. WE OFFER INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS TO HELP VETERANS DECIDE WHAT CAREER PATH THEY WANT TO TAKE AFTER MILITARY SERVICE. SSV ALSO PROVIDES VA BENEFITS ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS AND SECURED $8.878 MILLION IN VA BENEFITS ON THEIR BEHALF. SSV SERVED AS OUR GOVERNORS LEAD NON-PROFIT ADVISOR ON MANY VETERAN-RELATED ISSUES. MORE THAN 5,650 VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE SERVED DURING 2023. SSV DOES NOT CHARGE ANYONE FOR OUR SERVICES, WHICH ARE PAID FOR BY THE GENEROSITY OF OUR GRANTORS AND DONORS. SSV WAS ONCE AGAIN HONORED TO BE A PRIMARY GRANTEE FOR THE CALL OF DUTY ENDOWMENT IN 2023.
