ON MAY 31, 2023 THE BARNES HOUSING TRUST FUND COMMISSION VOTED TO AWARD OUR GRANT FUNDING PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT SIX (6) HOMEBUYERS PROJECTS. DURING THE SPRING 2023 FUNDING ROUND WE ALSO RECEIVED SIX (6) DONATED LOTS: 908 28TH AVE. N., 1601 WHELESS ST., DABBS AVE., 8 CANNON ST., EZELL RD. AND 169 OLD HERMITAGE AVE. TO BUILD THESE AFFORDABLE HOUSING.WE WERE AWARDED A GRANT FROM URBAN LEAGUE OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2023 TO HELP BUILD OUR CAPACITY.WE CLOSED OUR PROJECT LOCATED AT 3707 FAIRVIEW DRIVE, NASHVILLE, TN 37218 ON OCTOBER 27, 2023.LDCS CEO, HENRY MILLER, WAS SELECTED FOR THE URBAN LEAGUE OF MIDDLE TENNESSEES INAUGURAL R.E.D. FELLOWSHIP AN 18-MONTH IMMERSIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. HE RECEIVED HIS GRADUATION CERTIFICATE DURING THE R.E.D. ACADEMY GRADUATION SERVICES ON DECEMBER 13, 2023.
