THE MISSION OF GREAT KIDS, INC IS TO PROMOTE THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD BY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXCEPTIONAL HOME-BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD AND OTHER SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.

GREAT KIDS, INC. ACTS AS A RESOURCE CLEARINGHOUSE AND A PROVIDER OF TRAINING AND SKILLS INSTRUCTION FOR THE AGENCIES IT SERVICES. THESE AGENCIES INCLUDE STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS OF HEALTH OR SOCIAL SERVICES AS WELL AS OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS. GREAT KIDS, INC. HAS TRAINED 1,510 SUPERVISORS, FAMILY SUPPORT WORKERS, AND FAMILY ASSESSMENT WORKERS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PARENTS AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN SERVED BY ALL STAFF TRAINED BY GREAT KIDS, INC. IS APPROXIMATELY 24,160 DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
